Training Day Six – Squeaky Knees and Brick Foot

I was also feeling a slight knee pain that is difficult to describe. I can only describe the feeling as squeaky because the feeling can only be described as a sound. I imagine that if you had put your ear to both knees it would sound like a rusty gate to the pool of an abandoned home built in the 1940s.

Training Day Five – Minor Injuries to Overcome

Hopefully this injury thing does not become a trend for me. Sunday was an outdoor run and a brave (stupid?) attempt to do some weight training. The result was pain in the arch of my left foot and soreness, like a pulled muscle, in my left hamstring (back of my leg, like the photo).

Training Day Four – Hitting The Road

My training, so far, has been entirely indoors and on the treadmill. I have been challenged by pain, new neighborhoods (gym territory) and motivation. Sunday, Wendy raised the game a little and challenged me to extend my planned run by one mile and to run outside.
