Training Day Fourteen – Dead Tired

Snoozing Orange TabbySo, I awoke about an hour later than normal with the feeling that I could sleep all day. As soon as I started to head toward the coffee my nose started running and I began to sneeze, yuck!

Earlier in the week my eldest daughter came down with something and apparently the evil little microbes migrated over to attack my immune system. So, my fourteenth day of training resulted in extra sleep.

After taking the kids to school I returned home for a nap which consumed most of my morning. With all this rest I should be ready to tackle my 6 mile run on Sunday. Hopefully a day of rest wont hurt but rather help my training regimen.

After turning 30 , now 36, he began to wonder how long he could remain glued to a computer screen before he would need to make drastic changes in his personal habits. Long hours and energy drinks just don't cut the mustard at age 36. Hence the shift in focus and much needed fitness routine.

  1. Come on Robert! No updates since Saturday? Did you do the 6 miles on Sunday? Don’t let a cold get you down – you can do it…get running!
