Potential Injury Setback, Broken Toe

DSCN1971a I cant believe it, the week of my race, my first half-marathon. This morning I stubbed my pinky toe, really hard. This picture is my actual toe. Yeah, I know, my toes are ugly and I am sorry that you have to look at them. I think its broken and if it isn’t, it sure feels like it is. I wasn’t able to wear my shoe toady and I limped around the office all day.

I am supposed to have my final 5 miles training run tomorrow. Since I have already invested $100 for the race, I think I am going to give the training run a shot and see if I can tolerate a run roughly 2.5 times the distance.

Should I run or should I sit it out? That is the question. Will a tiny pinky toe stop me?
